The Big Apple

Recently, I took a trip to New York City with my best friend since age twelve and our teenage daughters. This was only my second trip ever to NYC. The first trip was in 1987 when the Twin Towers were still standing.

My next few posts will be photos from my recent trip and sometimes I will incorporate a few photos from my first trip to show a comparison.

First Stop

As a graphic designer, Apple has always been my preferred computer. The few times I have been forced to work on a “pc” I hated it! So naturally, my first stop in NYC was the Apple store.

The store design is so clever. Although, I nearly walked right past it! Architect Peter Bohlin is the creative genius behind Apple’s gorgeous buildings worldwide. One site says this 5th Avenue store the fifth most photographed building in New York City.
