Rock Coming To A Point

The name “Chattanooga” comes from the Creek Indian word for “rock coming to a point.” This refers to LookoutMountain which begins in Chattanooga and stretches 88 miles through Alabama and Georgia. (Taken from Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office website)

It is interesting to see different eras of a city. This post contains some historical photos of Chattanooga. Compare the Incline photo with my recent photo on my January 26th.
